Hitesh Sheth

Sheth holds a bachelor of arts degree in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Charlie Giancarlo

Charlie Giancarlo has served on the Vectra board of directors since April 2014. He is currently the CEO of Pure Storage and previously served as managing director, head of value creation and senior advisor at Silver Lake Partners.

Before Silver Lake, for over a decade Giancarlo was a senior executive at Cisco, including chief technology officer and chief development officer. He led Cisco’s multiproduct growth and was at the forefront of the company’s R&D efforts for all product lines, with entry into new markets, including IP Telephony, Wi-Fi, VPNs, TelePresence, and the SMB market.

Giancarlo holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Brown University where he serves on the board of trustees, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley where he serves on the board of advisors, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Brad Gillespie

General Partner, IA Ventures

Brad Gillespie is a seasoned technology leader with over fifteen years of experience in product, technology, and management. He is currently a General Partner at IA Ventures. Previously he served in several roles at Microsoft including Technology Advisor to the CTO.

Gillespie started out at Lockheed-Martin developing real-time classification systems and programming a PDP-11 in assembly. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and is an Affiliate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire.

Jim Messina

Founder and CEO, Messina Group

Jim Messina is founder and CEO of the Messina Group, a full-service consulting firm with offices in Washington, D.C. and San Francisco. The architect of Barack H. Obama's 2012 re-election campaign, Messina is widely recognized as one of the world's premier public affairs and communications strategists.

In 2013, Messina was named the chairman of Organizing for Action, an advocacy group that promotes social policies from the community level, and co-chairman of Priorities USA Action, a progressive super PAC. His close and ongoing connections to President Obama and other key global figures add singular value and insight to the Messina Group's work.

Eric Wolford

Accel Partners

Eric Wolford has served in a variety of executive leadership positions in multiple technology and service companies. Most recently, he was President, Products Group at Riverbed Technology, a company he joined in its early days in 2003. During his 10+ years at Riverbed, Wolford led a number of functions, including products, marketing, business and corporate development, engineering and global consulting that helped to take the company public and to deliver growth from $0 to $1 billion in revenue.

Prior to joining Riverbed, he was Senior Vice President of Products, Marketing and Business Development at NetVMG, a network management company acquired by Internap. Prior to NetVMG, he served as Vice President of Product Marketing and Management at Inktomi Corporation an FastForward Networks (which was acquired by Inktomi in October 2000), providers of content delivery management software. From 1988 to 1999, Wolford served in various sales, marketing and product management roles at AT&T Business Communication Services.

Wolford holds a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medicine from Pepperdine University and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Riverbed Technology, BitTorrent, and Jut.


Thomas J. Bakewell

Thomas J. Bakewell is the former Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology for Infoblox in Santa Clara, Calif. Working with the executive team, Bakewell provided, technical leadership, vision, deep operational and managerial expertise. In his role, he was responsible for creating and driving strategies that promote the continued growth of the company.

Under his leadership, the IT team achieved new levels of business agility, productivity, and customer service through innovative, adaptive technology solutions that accommodate business priorities. Prior to joining Infoblox, Bakewell held a number of executive IT leadership roles at Riverbed, Coherent, Brocade Systems and Sun Microsystems. During his career, he has worked in numerous managerial and technical roles, held teaching positions at the junior college level and is a member of several high tech advisory boards.

Alan Boehme

Alan Boehme provides leadership and oversight for several key areas within the Coca-Cola Global IT organization, where he is responsible for establishing and managing the enterprise architecture for the entire Coca-Cola system as well as evaluating new technologies and working closely with the business.

Before Coca-Cola Boehme was Senior Vice President of IT Strategy and Architecture and head of all off-shore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations for ING. Prior to ING, he held CIO positions at Juniper Networks, Sage Software and was CIO for shared services and e-business for GE Power Systems.

Mike Kourey

Mike Kourey is the Chief Financial Officer at Medallia and a former partner at Khosla Ventures, where he provided venture assistance and strategic advice to a wide range of portfolio companies. He is currently a board member of Riverbed Technology, Aruba Networks, AliveCor, Climate Corp., Metamarkets, Solum, Transonic, and Varentec.

Kourey is also a board observer at eASIC and on the advisory boards of Vectra and the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management. Previously, he was the CFO and a board member at Polycom, where he joined pre-financing and drove Polycom’s revenue growth from a standing start to $1.5 billion. Kourey holds a B.S. from the University of California, Davis and an M.B.A from Santa Clara University.

Jane Holl Lute

Jane Holl Lute is President and CEO of SICPA North America and Special Advisor to the United Nations secretary general. She was also Deputy Secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. From 2003-2009, Lute was U.N. Assistant Secretary-General, responsible for comprehensive on-the-ground support to U.N. peace operations worldwide.

Lute served on the National Security Council staff under President George H.W. Bush and President Bill Clinton and had a distinguished career in the U.S. Army, including service in the Gulf during Operation Desert Storm. She has a Ph.D. in political science from Stanford University and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
