Vectra Cognito® platform selected to detect attackers and perform conclusive incident investigations
Access42, an independent cyberdefense specialist, and Vectra, the leader in AI-powered network detection and response, today announced a partnership that enables Access42 and its customers to automate threat hunting, expose hidden attackers and empower threat hunters.
The Cognito platform from Vectra accelerates threat detection and investigation using sophisticated AI to collect, store and enrich network metadata, giving Access42 and its customers with the right context to detect, hunt and investigate known and unknown threats in real time. Cognito replaces legacy technology which fails to solve today’s detection and response challenges – from cloud and data center workloads to user and IoT devices.
“We are excited to add Vectra to our portfolio and help our customers to achieve the highest possible level of security,” said Ronald Kingma, CEO of Access42. Taking a prepare, detect, prevent, respond and predict approach, the Access42 Cyber Defense Centre offers a complete program to prevent cyberattacks on organizations.
“Within our current portfolio and services, we offer a lot of visibility on endpoints, applications, e-mail security and even human behavior,” said Kingma. “Vectra adds even more valuable visibility on the network to our portfolio to help us detect adversaries on the next level.”
AI-powered network detection and response (NDR) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) are a powerful combination to protect against sophisticated threats. “The combination of CrowdStrike EDR and Cognito NDR is a great way to help our customers to achieve real-time detection, prevention and response – all AI-powered, integrated, and ready for the future,” said Kingma. “Customers need a new approach on detection, prevention and response, and this approach is not based on signatures or old-school scanners.”
“Vectra is revolutionizing network security. We’re excited to partner with Access42, a highly-respected, independent cybersecurity provider. We are combining our expertise and services to help Dutch organizations find threats faster and mitigate business risk,” said Paul Tel, Regional Manager, Benelux at Vectra.
